The Logamail Apps Manager is the desktop launcher for your Logamail apps. It’s the one place to open, install, update, and manage everything in the Logamail suite.
The Logamail Apps Manager installs automatically when you download any Logamail desktop app (such as Logamail Go) from logamail.com. Once installed, it runs quietly in the background so your apps stay up to date and ready to launch.
Opening the Logamail Apps Manager
You can open the Logamail Apps Manager from the system tray (Windows) or menu bar (macOS). Look for the Logamail icon there.
Once the Logamail Apps Manager is installed, this single icon replaces the individual icons for your Logamail apps. You can manage all your installed apps from here.
To open the main Logamail Apps Manager window, click Open Logamail from the menu.
Note: The Logamail Apps Manager stays in your system tray or menu bar, so your apps can update in the background.
Signing in
If you’re signed out, you’ll see a Sign in to continue prompt when you open the Logamail Apps Manager:
Click Continue to sign in to open the Logamail sign-in page in your browser. You can sign in with Google, Microsoft, Apple, or your work or school email address.
Installing a Logamail app
If a Logamail app is available to install, you’ll see it listed in the main window with an Install button next to it:
To install the app, click Install next to it. The Logamail Apps Manager will download and install it automatically. Once it’s complete, you’ll see a confirmation at the bottom of the window:
Launching an installed app
Installed Logamail applications automatically start with the Logamail Apps Manager.
Note: If the Launch at startup option is turned off in the settings, Logamail Go must be launched manually.
To open an installed app, click Open next to its name in the main Logamail Apps Manager window:
You can also open installed Logamail applications directly from your computer.
Managing installed apps from the menu
The Logamail Apps Manager menu gives you quick access to your installed apps without opening the main window. Click the Logamail icon in your system tray or menu bar to display submenus. When Logamail Go is enabled, the corresponding submenus are readily available.
From an app’s submenu, you can:
- Open the app
- Access the app’s settings
- Give feedback or report an issue specific to that app
- Quit the app
Clicking Quit when multiple Logamail applications are open lets you choose which one to close.
Checking app status
Each installed app shows its current status next to its name:
- Up to date and running: The app is installed and active.
- Not running: The app is installed, but isn’t currently active. Click Open to launch it.
- Installation stopped: The app installation was manually canceled.
Uninstalling an app
To uninstall a Logamail app, click the three-dot menu (···) next to the app’s name in the main window and select Uninstall.
Managing your profile
To view or manage your Logamail account, click Profile in the lower-left corner of the main window. This opens your Logamail account settings in your browser.
The lower-left corner also shows the email address you’re signed in with and your current Logamail Apps Manager version.
Giving feedback or reporting an issue
To share feedback or report a problem with the Logamail Apps Manager or one of your Logamail apps, click the Logamail icon in your system tray or menu bar and select Give Feedback or Report an Issue.
