If you try to uninstall Logamail Go for Mac, a message may appear saying you can’t delete the program while it’s running: “The item “Logamail Go” can’t be moved to the Bin because it’s open.”
In that case, make sure you quit Logamail Go via your system menu bar before trying to uninstall it. To do that, click the Logamail icon in the upper-right corner of your screen and select Quit Logamail Go:
Then, go to Finder → Applications, find Logamail Go in the application list, and move it to Trash (or Bin). If you would also like to uninstall the Logamail Apps Manager, find it in Applications and move it to Trash.
If this doesn’t help, follow these steps:
- Click the Logamail icon in the upper-right corner of your screen, select Logamail Go, and choose Settings…
In the Customization tab, switch off Launch at startup:
Restart your computer and make sure that you choose not to reopen all apps after restart:
Then, try uninstalling Logamail Go.
Alternatively, if you’re on macOS 12 Monterey or later, follow these steps:
Click the Logamail icon in the menu bar and select Manage Logamail Apps:
In the window that opens, click on the three-dot icon (···) next to Logamail Go and select Uninstall:
